The Museum of Exploration’s Grand Opening coincides with another historic milestone: the 250th anniversary of the United States. To celebrate America 250, our photography exhibition, Red, White & Blue: Photographs of the United States will debut at the Spotlight Gallery summer 2026.
This collection of images from National Geographic Explorers and photographers explores the United States’ history, culture and complexities through the colorful lens of the U.S. flag. From bright red strawberries and serene blue lakes to vivid white snowfalls, explore the United States through a new lens and discover the symbols, scenes and stories that define the nation.
