Writing & Reading Group

The Photography Network hosts a monthly virtual writing and reading group (formerly the Writing Group) to support members in their scholarly pursuits. Members working on any type of writing project related to photography are encouraged to attend, as are members reading photography literature. Many of us know the challenge of making time to write and to read. This dedicated time provides a quiet study hour for writing and reading, along with an opportunity to share with one another (sharing is optional).

When?

As of October 1st, 2026, the PN Writing Group will meet on Mondays. Times will rotate between mornings and late afternoons and will try to accommodate different time zones.

The first 10-15 minutes will be for sharing any writing projects or literature you’re reading. We will then begin an hour of quiet, independent writing or reading. The last 10-15 minutes will be for sharing any thoughts or revelations.
