In this presentation Juliet Hacking and Joanne Lukitsh, editors of a recent anthology of essays on art and photography in the 19th century, make the case for revisiting the material and metaphorical interplay between photography and the arts, with “arts” encompassing a range of media from the visual culture of the time.

Don’t forget, Photography Network Writing Group offers a twice-monthly meeting place for members to gather and focus on scholarly projects. We devote the first 10 minutes of each meeting to socializing, resource sharing, and goal setting. The remainder of the time consists of two 30-minute quiet, independent writing blocks with a 5-minute break in between.

We meet every other Friday at 9 AM PST / 12 pm EST / 5 PM GMT via Zoom.
